Cyclone Dana disaster preparedness plan at Korapitha Gram Panchayat

 

In anticipation of Cyclone Dana, Korapitha Gram Panchayat activated its disaster preparedness plan. The panchayat identified vulnerable areas and arranged for the evacuation of residents to safer locations. Relief materials, including food, water, and first-aid kits, were stocked and made readily available. Teams were deployed to disseminate information about the cyclone and assist with evacuation efforts. The panchayat also coordinated with local authorities to ensure a swift response in case of any emergencies. Post-cyclone, assessments were conducted to evaluate the damage and initiate relief and rehabilitation measures.
